This has happened to me before and running these did the trick. Running ' powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest. Running 'wsreset.exe' from the Command Prompt. Here is what I've tried to resolve the issue: ![]() Strangely, there is now a notification in the upper right hand corner that an app needs an update (See video) but when I click on it, it states 'No updates available'. When I click on the tile, it does nothing. All of the other Windows Store Apps are accessible to install, but the Update to Windows 8.1. When I go to the Windows Store, I can now see the Windows Upgrade tile for 8.1. ![]() I've downloaded all updates from Windows Update and have updated all Windows 8 Apps in the Windows Store. I have a spare HP 2000 Notebook that I'm configuring.
